Monday was absolutely fun!!

I am glad that it was chock full of happy memories which I shall carry as I begin living next month as "the-one-with-no-life" Haha =)

But really, the whole day was a whirlwind of some of my favourite activities with almost of my favourite people in the world! =) What a pity that I didnt catch up everyone right before this window of freedom closes...

Okay, Monday morning started with heavy rainfall, and I was late ( yet again) to meet up with Dezhi and Ali to catch the bus to Parkway Parade. No thanks to my brilliance, I didnt realise that PP is not within the vicinity of Singapore Post Centre. But thank goodness that 76 does stop at PP, if not those 2 would killed me twice (for being late and making them trek to Parkway from Singpost) even before I reach East Coast Park and kill myself by breaking all my bones rollerblading.

So, the class outing to ECP started with only 5 people, out of the confirmed attendance of around 11, meeting at PP, on top of some pull-outs. Having armed myself with the weather forecast of the day (rain in morning and early noon), and loads of cash, I was prepared to play my head off for the day. After an arduous trek to the park (cox we couldnt bear to spend 45 cents on a bus ride that lasts 3 stops), we headed to Mac to pick Dor up and we went to the bowling alley.

Hahaha, so Bee, Dor, Dz, me and Ali in the game. And that pic was of the scores up till our last frames for the game le.

From top, the scores of Bee, Dz, Dor, mk, Ali (arranged by age)

Hehhehheh, M is for mk, and she leads with a 76! But ah, Bee is more zai, she managed to pull off 2 strikes!! Cool right!

This is Ali!! =D

This is DZ, I think. He and ZR are the probably the ones with postures that resemble that of the professional players. Haha.

Then, ZR, JZ, Lester, PH and Weiss eventually turned up. Meanwhile, having finished our game, we head up to the arcade on the second floor and blew 5 bucks in one go. That place does not have a Time Crisis machine!! If you aint got a TC machine, it is not an arcade. Which was why I spent only 5 bucks. Bleaghhh.

So after that, we went to Macdonald's for lunch before heading out to the park!! And this was where the real fun begins! Let's see...

On the blades (albeit a little unsteadily), we have me, Ali, Bee, DZ and Genial!

And on bikes, Dor, PH, JZ, Lester, Weiss and ZR =)

Wahaha, we rented the equipment for 3 hrs and for the bladers, began to learn, re-learn or attempt to learn how to blade, while those bikers zoomed off on their two wheelers. Sometime later, we all met up again and began to make our way to this supposed shop selling drinks waaaayyyy at the end of the park. The people blading had so much difficulty progressing that we were only halfway there when we met the bikers on their return trip, having had their refreshing drinks and rest.

Man, the only reason I rent bikes would be so that I can zoom past people learning to blade and shout, "Eat my dust!!". Oh!!! Or maybe bear threateningly down on little kids learning to blade, ring my bell impatiently and laugh at their frantic attempts to get out of my way!! Bwahahaha!!

I am so gona get retribution for thinking about doing that. Never doubt the powers of karma. =P

Anyway, so at the end of the whole thing, we all ended up slacking by the beach. Me and Ali whipped out our cameras for group shots, and this was what this guy whom we asked us to help took with my camera.

1st row (from left to right) : Bee Hua, Doreen, Alicia and the girl with the twisted neck? Me lor!

2nd row: Peck Hor, Dezhi, Genial, Zi Rong, Lester, Jin Zheng and Weiss.

I know! I think I was scolding someone when he took that shot! Goodness, it looks as if there was this huge gust of wind whoch twisted my neck 90 degrees left!! Grrr. *slaps forehead in exasperation*

Anyway, to make up for that bad shot (thanks to me), here are a couple of shots which I took at the end of the day.

It was like, evening already, and the park was crowded with people on bikes and blades, some whizzing around as if they want to break the sound barriers, while some make their way as if they were on tightropes =P Families strolled past, ambled along, and it was as if it is forever holidays there at East Coast.

Is'nt it wierd? The shore is horizontal, yet the sea level isnt! But still, I quite like the scene. Colour accent on the shore.

And so that about sums up a very happy day on the beach =D

But the day wasnt over for me yet!! Hahaha, with an increasingly hungry stomach, I made my way to Liyanah's house to catch the results show of Singapore Idol 2 with Yj, Choon,. Leen, Liyanah, her mum and her sis!! (Jas was unable to make it) It was sweet of them to (attempt to) wait for me, but damn, was the bus ride long and they gave up =) Haha.. Anyway, I finally reached her house, to a delicious dinner of spaghetti and chicken wings =)

And yes, I was the only one who cheered for Energy, though I would very much prefer the desciption "showed some measure of interest and enthusiasm" =P Haha, the rest of the people were like... "Energy..?!!" and shot looks of disbelief at me. Anyway, Hady won, and among the houseful of supporters, were some teary eyes too =)

Yep, a very very very happy and wonderful day in all =D

Whee!! I am finally online! What with my com going dead for two whole months, and right before my prelims (can you believe it? I think it is some heavenly hint to get my butt off to study actually), which meant I have been offline for a bloody long time!

And there is this inertia to blog too, when you are online and be it ogling at Joe Cheng (me), or playing a particularly addictive game or watching videos at Youtube, etc which caught me by surprise because I myself thought I would have a lot of things I would like to write down, so why this dilly-dallying?

But anyway, I got caught in a little bit of character studying through horoscops recently, and a very true but surprising piece of information about Leos pop up and made me know myself a little better. Leos are perceived to be sociable creatures apparently, enjoying social interaction and stuff but they do prefer solidarity sometimes too.

And I admit I am like that, haha, which is why I say I am blessed to have friends who have more initiative and friends who understand why libraries rock =) Hahaha, best of both worlds..

And moving on to prelims... Well, I think, the only memory (bloody difficult tests not related) I have of the entire two weeks is that of me rushing for the buses every bloody morning and afternoon. I know! When did I ever turn into a latecomer? Well, as someone once put it (i cant rmb who), I am the type who wakes up in the morn and pore over the papers in a leisurely manner while sipping coffee from my mug. Yeah, thats me. And the person who takes forever to get her hair ready for school. And you know what, my hair still looks fat. So dont imagine how I look when I wake up in the morning. Wahaha..

Funny how I havent been writing as km for a loonng time. I do have ideas on what to write, but because I wasnt sitting at the com, as the next thought comes along, the earlier one disappears, and so it is like " did I ever think of those ideas anyway?" kind of thing now.. Oh well, as long as km does come out and play sometime... =)

Gotta go now, brother needs to do EOM.. mWahahaa, I love being a J2 for this =D
